Schwarzer, who spent five years at Fulham, believes it’s time for change at Craven Cottage.
“They seriously have to be considering it (sacking
Jokanovic),” Schwarzer told BT Sport when asked if he thought the 50-year-old should be sacked.
“After you’ve invested over £100million in a side once
you’ve been promoted, and results don’t go your way, but it’s not just about
the results. It’s more about the performances, particularly in the first half,
but I don’t think it was enough.”
Jokanovic went into the game 8/11 favourite to be the
next Premier League manager sacked, however, following the defeat his odds have
since shortened to 8/15 as it looks more-and-more certain he will be the first
top-flight boss shown the door.
Meanwhile, Alan Pardew is clear favourite (8/11) to
take over at Craven Cottage, while former Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri, who
defied the odds by winning the Premier League with the Foxes, is next in line at
David Moyes and Sam Allardyce follow at 11/2 and 7/1
respectively, and former Fulham boss Chris Coleman, who started his managerial
